Kurt Vonnegut was a true anomaly in the writing world and will be sorely missed. He wanted the world to be happy, and he had this kind of honesty about him that was so prevalent in his writing. For all of the sad, sad stories he could have written, he had seen so much horror in his lifetime, he instead chose to enlighten and entertain us. And I have never once seen a picture where he wasn’t smiling.
